LOA To Improve Your Life

Did it happen to you to complain about not having enough money? Did you feel envious about the success of someone else? Did you feel that people don’t like you? Did you wish you had a nice, beautiful house like the one you saw in a wealthy residential area of your capital city?  Did you wish you had that nice, slim body, clean skin, expensive outfit, like someone you saw in the media, on the street?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then the Law of Attraction(LOA) says that you can only blame yourself. All you need to do is to wake up, get on your feet and change your life for ever. If others did it, you can do it too. It is never too late to do good things. Think big, try to find your way to serve others and the Universe will channel its’ gifts through you to the entire humanity.

Since I was still young, I had this feeling in me that one day, I will accomplish great things. I had that voice within me, telling me that. I had my Grandma to interpret my dreams every morning. Nothing in her words was negative about my dreams. We used to sit down on a carpet in front of her small hut, under the sun. We had plenty of time for each other. It felt very awesome. I would tell a story of my last night dreams and she would interpret: this means you will be great. You will be very rich and known all over the world.

Forty years later, when I look back to that time, I see good and bad. I see a very harmonious set of relationships between people. I see people who used to create happiness within themselves with little or nothing. I see an improvement in the quality of life. I also see poverty and misery of the majority of less educated people trying to fend for themselves and sharing their worries and misfortune on a daily basis. I see a huge waste of time and negative thinking.

The Western World taught me that time was money from high school to University. Teachers, Missionaries  from Europe and other continents shared their knowledge and experience with us for many years. We created a second way of thinking through different subjects they were teaching us. I was staying at school for three or four months before returning to the village for my vacation. When I returned to the village, what I could hear all around was: I am poor, I don’t have this and that. I was doing the same too to a certain extent. What I didn’t realize was the fact that I was attracting failure like every body around without knowing.

When I discovered the Law of Attraction, every thing started to change. I started challenging negative thoughts and chasing them away from my mind. Every time they come, I catch them and tell them to go away. When my mom calls me from Africa, she says to me: my son, I am worried that once I die, I don’t know who is going to burry me. I don’t know where I will be buried. Then I say to her: mom, think about how you can improve your life today, don’t thing about how you are going to die.

I may not have convinced her yet because talking to her on the phone is too expensive but ultimately, the choice is hers. I also told her that if she keeps focusing on dying, that’s exactly what is going to happen. I really want her to live many more years for me. I was separated from her 7 months after I was born when she divorced my father.

During that time, when I started thinking, I had only a vague image of her. I did not even see her picture until 1982. You see, I have many reasons to wish her a long life. I want her to change her thoughts. I wish she could read and open my website every day. I know she wants to live but unfortunately, people sometimes invite unwanted guests into their homes. What you say, what you think, what you focus your attention to, may soon or later become a reality. The way you attract the positive, you can attract the negative too.

My aunt was a very powerful woman. She was the first born of the family of Grandpa. She was the one who took care of her young sisters and my father. I caught her many times when she had an argument with my father, saying: I carried you on my back! My father was so proud of himself, his accomplishments, that he did not want to hear that his sister carried him on her back when he was still a baby.

However, the facts are the facts. My aunt lived for everyone from her family, to the entire village to everyone who came in contact with her. She gave value to so many people. She solved so many problems as a woman. She was ultra confident and disciplined. She knew what she wanted and how to get it. When her time came to leave, she set her own conditions. She decided what she wanted to do first before she died. After she had checked the entire list in her head, ( nothing was on paper) she called me to say goodbye. She said:” Imana iguhe umugisha, which means, God bless you”. A few day later, she died quietly, surrounded by her family. Today I see her as an example of success as well.

Talking about attracting the positive, I remember that for 20 years I kept asking the Universe to show me my mother. It responded when I was completing my high school. I begged the Universe to show me my sister I had not see in my life. It happened when I was completing my MA degree at University.  I rebuilt a family that was broken but my father died during war. The war separated me and the rest of the family again for another 20 years or so. But because I love them, I find ways to meet them again.

I also remember a neighbour who kept telling me that she was unable to visit her mother very far away because she had no money. I told her: if your mother dies without seeing you, you will be sorry. She kept thinking, debating about going or not going. I went to her again and asked: is it true that you don’t have the ticket to go visit your mother? She said that she could borrow some money but did not want to get into debts. I left her and waited. I knew that she would make her dream a reality very shortly.

Myself, when I came to North America, I was wondering how I will ever again own my own house in a very expensive city. Then I had a dream. I did not just have one house, I had two. The only problem I had was a tenant who had refused to pay rent. When I woke up, I was disappointed. I realized that my income wouldn’t qualify me for a mortgage. Seven years later, the two very beautiful bungalows were there. They were mine. The tenant who refused to pay was there too. Isn’t that amazing?

Let’s visit again the neighbour. When her emotions became so strong, she couldn’t resist anymore. She found the money and left. You see? She did it and she did not have to borrow any money. The Universe conspired and she earned the money she needed for travel.

The success of my neighbour and my previous success keep pushing me forward to more and more success. I see myself today where I need to be tomorrow. I read books every day and never waste any time in my life. I take this opportunity to tell you that if you need to help others, target the ways people think. Check their attitude, see how they spend their time etc. Do not give them a fish, teach them how to fish.
